Synopsis: Perform field modification to remove surface from the low temperature superheater.Provide all labor, supervision, and tooling at each location to modify and reduce the heating surface of the low temperature superheater section. Back superheater element required the removal of a section of tube with a minimum of two field cuts. The tube ends then needed to be machine end prepped per detailed engineering standards. All field cuts and prepping were performed with pneumatic tooling to prevent slag and contamination from entering the superheater steam side. Provide all modifications to existing alignment bars including new weld attachments and supports. Install all spacer bars to evenly space and align the elements.
Provide all Quality Assurance Inspection, detailed weld procedures, Authorized Inspection services and completed R1 code documentation.
